Annie Mist Thorisdottir, a CrossFit professional athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She is also a coach and trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is the co-owner. Annie is the only woman to have ever won two CrossFit Games. In 2010, she placed 2nd. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelanders CrossFit athlete weightlifter and media-star. She was the winner of CrossFit Games 2011 and 2012 twice, becoming the first female winner. The other accomplishments she has achieved include securing Dubai Fitness Championships in 2013 and 2013. Annie was raised through her mother and father living in Reykjavik Iceland. As a working out enthusiast from a young age she participated in numerous school competitions and won several medals. In 2009, she competed in CrossFit competitions held in California. Her initial performances were good. Annie Thorisdottir as of 2021, is aged 31. She is 5' 7 tall and her weight is approximately 67 kg. Annie started her CrossFit journey in California in 2009. She was successful in her first competitions and finished in the top 10 in the rankings. The team was unable to win any awards and ended up 11th in the final ranking. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. In CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen, she placed second and took home an Olympic silver medal that same year. As a result of her exceptional performance, she managed to take home her first CrossFit Games title and become the first female CrossFit Games winner. Annie was the first female to win consecutive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to an exceptional performance. Silver medals were awarded in the year 2014 and then in 2021, she was awarded a Bronze medal in the CrossFit Games. At present, Annie works as a trainer and coach in Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. Annie is an athlete on the rise who has been the face for many brands such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs and Renaissance Periodization, Nuun Hydration and Sidekick Yerbae. Her own Youtube page has over 1,000 followers, and she has posted her family and travel videos and training-related diets.
