Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou is the youngest of four children born on August 9th, 1976 in Beaumont Puy de Domme. Audrey's parents, both a dental dentist and teacher, were aware of and supported their daughter's passion for theater and drama at the age of a stage novice. The support they provided was more than enough to overcome her original desire to become primatologist. It was a quick rise for her to become an internationally renowned young actor. Her career began in earnest in 1999, after which she began acting professionally. Following her studies Tautou was a participant in the French television show for talent scouting called Jeunes Premiers. Though she was a student at the Institut Catholique de Paris and attended church in her youth Tautou is now averse to the Catholic tradition, saying she's not Catholic. As well as her acting profession, she pursued a modeling career. It is her turn to be the face of L'Oreal Mont Blanc & Chanel and is often referred to as The Chanel Muse. She also has a serious photographic passion and has recently exhibited her work during the Arles Festival under the title Superficial. The majority of her photography is focused on the spotlight and celebrities and focuses the camera on those who scrutinized her when she exploded to stardom with Amelie in addition to self-portraits. Audrey Tautou rose to fame and fame with her starring role in Le Fabuleux Destin of Amelie Poulain. Amelie made international waves on the screen and won awards around the globe. It is currently the most successful French film in the US. The popularity of the film led Tautou to a variety of roles, from British dramas like Dirty Pretty Things by Stephen Knight and Jean Pierre Jeunet to Hollywood's The Da Vinci Code with Tom Hanks.
